FAQ
The Scoop
Frequently asked questions around who we are, how commissions work, shipping and more.
We are simply a small 3D print and design shop that enjoys helping people get their things printed and ideas to reality. We're not a large company, we just lend a printer or two when we need to help. There is no intention of long queues, or being overwhelmed with orders. We understand our capacity and work within it.
Throughout every project, print, or design study it increases our knowledge, experience, and well-roundness. In the midst of the learning and growth, we want to share the knowledge and experience through doing a print, as well as consulting with someone who may have their own ideas, or even printer. It is all for the enjoyment of making, printing, and discovery.
We work with .STL, .3MF, and .OBJ files. If you have a design from MakerWorld or a similar platform, just send us the link. Please make sure your files are ready to go.
If we need to spend a considerable amount of time slicing/creating a .3mf file, we will need to charge additionally for this. We do our best to provide quick turnaround.
Our goal is to always provide a quick turnaround, however every order is unique and we will do our best to give you an accurate timeline, given the scope of the work.
Typically, orders take 1–3 business days to complete. Once an order passes the quality control check and is considered complete, we will notify you via email. We will then ship on the same day, or the following business day.
We primarily print in PLA, PETG, and TPU. When necessary, we have ABS, ASA, PA, and PC. We have 100+ rolls in stock across a wide range of colors and finishes. Check out the filaments page to get better familiarity with what's available!
We use Bambulab printers — an H2D, P1S, and A1 Mini. All printers are maintained, well taken care of, and regularly calibrated. You can learn more on the about page.
We do CAD work for select projects — our design knowledge is growing, but we are by no means experts, and we have no problem admitting that.
However, the beauty of trying to design something for someone builds the pathway to that expert title. If we think we can create something from it, we can make it happen! Design services are charged outside of 3D prints. Visit the contact page to get started.
